About Nordic Lichen Society NLF is devoted to the promotion of lichenological interest in the Nordic countries, i.e., Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland, and Iceland. Membership is open to everyone sharing an interest in lichens. The society publishes the journal Graphis Scripta, which appears twice per year. A meeting and excursion is organized every second year. The next excursion is in 2009 and will be in Iceland. The board consists of representatives from each of the Nordic countries. Each country have one representative, except the country organizing the upcoming excursion, which has two. The current board, elected at the last meeting in Finland 2007 can be seen here.
